About Pilates With Katy
Katy trained in dance from a young age but unfortunately suffered a knee injury at the age of 16. It was through suffering her knee injury that she discovered the Pilates method. She attended various classes over the years, but it was during her time at ALRA in London where she was training as an Actor, that she really fell in love with Pilates. It complemented her movement studies as a performer perfectly, and it helped her to rebuild her strength after her knee operation.
After leaving drama school, Katy went on to study with STOTT Pilates in London. She has since furthered her Pilates training
and completed her Comprehensive Classical training with The Pilates Center, Boulder & The Pilates Hub, Edinburgh.
Katy offers both Classical and Contemporary Pilates, and is qualified and experienced in working with Pre and Postnatal women.
