Prenatal Pilates

These classes are aimed at second trimester onwards,  offering a safe and effective workout, that can help your body prepare for giving birth and the physical demands of motherhood.

Postnatal Pilates

These classes focus on regaining core/pelvic floor strength after having a baby, using safe and effective Pilates exercises. Pilates helps with strength, tone, alignment, balance and flexibility - all of which can be affected after having a baby.

You must have had clearance at your 6 week check from your GP/Midwife to begin exercise. It will be longer (8-12) weeks if you have had a c-section.

Classical Mat Pilates

Classical Pilates teaches the exercises taught by founder Joseph Pilates, in the original order that he taught them.

The Classical method centres on the 8 principles of Pilates: Alignment, Breathing, Centring, Concentration, Coordination, Flow,  Relaxation and Stamina.

Contemporary Pilates

These mixed ability contemporary mat classes, focus on strengthening, toning, alignment, posture and breathing. They fuse together the original classical exercises with the use of small props such as bands, balls and circles to further challenge and deepen your workout, adding a contemporary twist on Joseph's original work.
